When uninstalling an app, you can now choose to also remove all associated content, preferences, and caches. This greatly reduces the need for an external cleaning app. Personal files and data created by the app will remain untouched.

Whenever you install, upgrade, or uninstall an item, Brewer X will show a push notification with all the details. You can turn off/on notifications from Settings → General.
We’re also working on additional notifications, e.g: reminders to upgrade apps or scheduled maintenance suggestions.

You can now add a badge on the app icon showing the number of outdated items. From Settings → General you can customise the badge behaviour.

You can now hide an installed item from the table. Use the File → Hide/Show Selected Items menu to toggle this state and the View → Show Hidden Items menu to temporarely display the hidden items. You can also use the default system shortcut ⌘⇧. to toggle the hidden items.
Note that - hiding - an item doesn’t make it invisible in your Mac, it’s just effecting its visibility inside Brewer X.

You can now hide all the script dependencies from the table. Use the View → Scripts → Show Dependencies menu to toggle this state.

Whenever the Sync starts, manually or automatically, a progress indicator will show up in the rightmost corner of the main window. We also upgraded the indicator in the Settings to be determined as well.

We’ve added a new setting to adjust the amount of Homebrew’s log messages you see in the Transcript. Jump to Settings → Advanced and choose between Quiet, Normal, and Verbose.

All the maintenance tasks are now logged in the Transcript. This is useful to keep track of what’s going on, but also to catch any possible error. If a task is running, the app asks for confirmation before quitting. Finally, the update task now performs better.

We’ve added the ability to copy apps and scripts tokens in bulk. This is mostly useful to manually backup all your installed contents or share them with someone else.
